Their friendship begins on the school swim team. Every year in August, they spend a few days together on the ocean shore — in a villa they’ve rented, with the cheeky name “The Sweet Delilah,” to recharge that bond with laughter and conversation. The rules are strict: "... no men, no children, no work — just us girls!" We peek in four times, at different intervals, into these meetings brimming with shared experiences. We witness them swimming together through the emotional whirlpool of each one’s life. When, toward the end of the play, fate throws them an unexpected challenge, this vivid comedy takes an unexpectedly touching turn. Cleansing laughter and bright tears accompany this friendship forever.
